God doesn't hate gays and there is no record of Jesus teaching that. Jesus didn't go around picking on any group of people (except maybe the religious rulers). His central message was that God loves you and requires a response from you. For anyone that means changed their behavior, which will be unique and specific to the individual. For one person it may mean they stop drinking, for another that they stop looking at porn, or for another that they learn to control their temper. Most people can't change entirely in one day, so He works with us where we are at. Suppose someone is a drug addict and they don't realize it, but God asks them to just give up their resentment toward their parents instead. If they do so obediently but then get hit by a bus before they ever get to dealing with their addiction, I take comfort in the idea that the decision around where they go would be up to a loving and forgiving Creator who wants the best for us.

I do like some of the messages, however I don’t like when people live their life according to the Bible. To the point that they don’t have much fun because it’s somewhat of a sin or something, due to they only pay attention to the next life, that they only live this life to get into Heaven.
